I checked him out here in Orlando last night....he had some nice things going on but had a tendency to ramble on a bit instead of just playing. Danny Gottlieb joined him for an impromptu snare duet which was cool tho...

Hey Roy
What did he ramble about? Did he say anything about his new instructional stuff coming out? Did he get into some of the physical elements of playing like Weckl did a few years ago- body motion stuff related to physics?

I felt he spent too much time talking about the Moeller method - he even admitted that himself. He also talked in depth about the "US Ethnic Drummer" concept, all of which is on the Zildjian site. He didn't talk too much about the new instructional stuff, only that it would be available next month, and didn't get into anything about physics, motion, etc. Like I said, the playing part was great, and he did some audience participation with odd times and time manipulation which was cool, but (in my opinion) there were some parts that could have been shortened at least. Let me know what you think when you've seen it.
